Please embrace "perfectly imperfect" as this proves the pot to be handmade. All pieces are functional and food safe, no funny business. Anything with GOLD SILVER is NOT microwave safe. I recommend handwashing for the longevity of handmade, but secretly put everything ceramic in the top rack of my dishwasher.
